Ingredients Serves 6

  • 6 potatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 bunch dill and parsley
  • 3/4 cup natural yoghurt
  • 3/4 cup ricotta cheese
  • 6 oz/150 g parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2/3 tsp pepper

Method

  1. Peel and rinse the potatoes, cut into thin slices. Try to make them as thin as possible.

  2. Cut the garlic finely.

  3. Mince dill and parsley.

  4. Grate the parmesan cheese. You can replace it with any other sort of hard cheese.

  5. Grease a baking pan with oil, sprinkle the garlic evenly.

  6. Spread out potato slices in several layers, add salt and pepper to your taste.

  7. Cover potato with the layer of dill and parsley.

  8. Mix ricotta with yoghurt, pour this over the herb layer. Use fork to spread the mixture evenly.

  9. Sprinkle with the grated parmesan.

  10. Place baking pan to the oven for 40-50 minutes. Optimal temperature is 400 degrees F (or 200 C). Test the potatoes with a knife.
