Ingredients Serves 2 - 3
- 1 cup dates
- 2 very ripe avocados
- 2 tbsp (raw) cacao powder
- 1/2 cup coconut (soy or almond) milk
Rinse dates, cut them into halves to remove the pits. Soak the dates in water for 30 minutes, or until soft.
Peel and pit the avocados. (See how to work with avocados). Cut into chunks.
Make sure the avocados are fully ripe and perfectly soft.
Drain the dates, place them into a blender and process until the dates become a smooth paste.
Add the avocados, 2 tablespoons of (raw) cacao powder and 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk of your choice. I prefer coconut milk. Blend until creamy, moussy consistency.
