Ingredients Serves 2 - 3
- 2-3 vine ripe tomatoes
- 4.5 oz/125 g mozzarella cheese
- 1 sprig fresh basil
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 pinches salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar (optional)
Cut the tomatoes into even slices, do the same with mozzarella cheese. Tomatoes for this salad should be red, without white core, and the side should correspond to the size of mozzarella.
Alternate the tomato and mozzarella slices on a serving plate, garnish with the basil leaves.
Drizzzle over the olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Serve immediately and enjoy the taste Italian summer.
